The 2026 Rally Season: Top Motorcycle RALLIES in the US You Cannot Miss
The calendar fills up fast when you're a rider who takes the season seriously. Across the country, from the beaches of Florida to the Black Hills of South Dakota to the mountains of Tennessee, motorcycle rallies draw hundreds of thousands of riders every year and not because they're required to, but because the pull of the road and the pull of the community are stronger than most things life throws in the way.
2026 is a landmark year. Major events are hitting milestone anniversaries, new rallies are earning their place on the national stage, and the riding community is bigger and more connected than ever. Here's a look at the events worth planning your year around — from the legendary institutions to the exciting new names on the list.
Full Throttle Branson Bike Week | Branson, Missouri
New in 2026 | September 10-12, 2026 | Produced by the Full Throttle Saloon, H.O.G., and Branson City
The newest name on the national rally calendar, and one that already has serious momentum. Full Throttle Branson Bike Week brings together three major forces; the Harley Owners Group, the Full Throttle Saloon (the world's largest biker bar), and Branson city, one of the most visited entertainment cities in the country.
This is the official H.O.G. national rally location, which means it carries all the weight of over a million members and decades of organized riding tradition. But it's situated in a city that adds something few rally towns can offer: world-class entertainment the moment you park your bike. Bike Week Concerts, Branson's Landing, Silver Dollar City, live music venues, Table Rock Lake, and a city infrastructure built for visitors, it means your nights match your days.
The riding in the Ozarks is genuine. Five major routes fan out from Branson into some of the most celebrated motorcycle roads in America, including stretches of Highway 76, the Table Rock Lake Loop, the legendary Forsyth 376-curve route, and Highway 125 south to Arkansas. For a three-day rally, this geography delivers.
This is a rally worth getting in on from the ground floor.

Daytona Bike Week | Daytona Beach, Florida
February 27 – March 8, 2026 | 85th Anniversary
The rally that kicks off the season, and in 2026, it's celebrating 85 years, making it one of the oldest and most storied motorcycle events in the world. Half a million riders descend on Daytona Beach every March, transforming Main Street into one of the most electric motorcycle corridors on the planet.
The riding around Daytona is excellent, particularly "The Loop" a 45-mile coastal run along A1A that riders come back to year after year. But Daytona is also a complete event: racing at the Speedway, vendors, bike shows, and nightlife that runs around the clock. The beach setting gives it an energy all its own.
Harley-Davidson hosts its own presence here, and as part of the RollingUSA campaign at participating Harley-Davidson dealerships, riders can register to potentially win a Harley-Davidson motorcycle through a live key-drawing event, ten riders, one set of keys, and one person wins a new bike.
85th anniversaries don't come twice. If there's ever a year to make the Daytona trip, 2026 is it.

Laconia Motorcycle Week | Laconia, New Hampshire
June 13–21, 2026 | 103rd Edition (America's Oldest Rally)
If Sturgis is the biggest, Laconia is the oldest. Racing back to 1916, this New Hampshire tradition has been running for over a century, and in 2026 it hits its 103rd year, a staggering number for any event.
Set in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, Laconia's natural setting is among the best of any rally in the country. Lake Winnipesaukee provides a constant backdrop, and the riding through New England back roads and the White Mountains is some of the most diverse terrain you'll find at any event. Weirs Beach serves as rally headquarters, with the boardwalk filling up with riders, vendors, and live music throughout the nine-day run. The Loudon Classic at New Hampshire Motor Speedway draws the racing crowd, and the surrounding region, with its ice cream shops, country roads, and lake views that gives the event a character unlike anything in the South or Midwest.
A motorcycle is also given away at Laconia each year as part of the RollingUSA and Harley-Davidson rolling contests, adding to the long list of reasons to visit a participating Harley-Davidson to enter to win a trip to the Rally.

Sturgis Motorcycle Rally | Sturgis, South Dakota
August 7–16, 2026 | 86th Anniversary
There's nothing like Sturgis, it's just true. The world's largest motorcycle rally, founded in 1938 by Clarence "Pappy" Hoel and the Jackpine Gypsies Motorcycle Club, started with 19 riders and a hill climb. Today it draws somewhere between half a million and three-quarters of a million riders over ten days in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
Main Street fills up with vendors, food, and a rolling parade of bikes that never seems to stop. The Full Throttle Saloon — the world's largest biker bar and the Pappy Hoel Campground is a where the action is, hosting entertainment and parties that run day and night. From Journey, Sammy Hagar, Rob Zombie, Jackyl, Jamey Johnson, Blackberry Smoke, and Insane Clown Posse. And let’s not forget the riding: the Needles Highway, Spearfish Canyon, Custer State Park, Deadwood, and routes out to Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial. The Black Hills are built for motorcycles in a way very few landscapes are.
Pappy Hoel started something in 1938 that the world never stopped showing up for. In 2026, 86 years in, it's still the one every rider should make at least once.

Bikes, Blues & BBQ | Rogers, Arkansas
September 30 – October 3, 2026

Rolling USA and Harley-Davidson have another motorcycle giveaway that is one of the featured events. This is a rally with a purpose, and it shows in the crowd it attracts. Smoky Mountain Bike Week | Maryville, Tennessee
September 26 – October 3, 2026
Still building its reputation but already turning heads, Smoky Mountain Bike Week is positioned in one of the most extraordinary riding regions in North America, the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. The 4th annual event in 2026 puts riders within reach of some of the most celebrated roads in the country: the Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, and dozens of high-elevation routes through the national park.
Built by riders, for riders, that's the mantra, and the programming reflects it. Live music, flat track races, Harley-Davidson demo truck rides, and a rally atmosphere that emphasizes the road over the spectacle. The fall timing means peak foliage colors and some of the best riding weather of the year.
This is a young event with a great location and serious momentum. Get there while it's still finding its stride.

Myrtle Beach Bike Week | Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
May 8 - May 17, 2026 | 87th Annual Spring Rally
Myrtle Beach Bike Week puts riders right on the Grand Strand, where cruising Ocean Boulevard, Highway 17, and the coastal stretch between North Myrtle Beach and Murrells Inlet is the main event. Just inland, riders can branch out toward Georgetown or cut through lowcountry backroads lined with marsh views, live oaks, and open sweepers that give the rally more depth than just the beach strip, especially at sunrise and sunset when traffic thins and the coast opens up, making those early morning and late evening rides some of the most memorable of the week.
The rally itself spreads across the region, creating a loose, ride-all-day, stop-where-you-want vibe, with nights centered around live music and packed venues like Suck Bang Blow. It’s also a well-known stop for Jackyl, adding to the rally’s loud, high-energy identity. Myrtle Beach Bike Week isn’t about structure it’s about the ride, the coastline, and everything that happens in between.

Ohio Bike Week | Sandusky, Ohio
May 29 – June 6, 2026 | 26th Anniversary
The Midwest's largest motorcycle rally, set on the shores of Lake Erie in Sandusky, Ohio. Nine days of riding, live music, vendors, poker runs, and the kind of community energy that comes from 26 years of doing something right.
The signature event many riders look forward to is the Jesse James Dupree Charity Ride, led by Jesse James Dupree of the rock band Jackyl, the ride winds scenic roads around the lake and raises money for charity. It's a ride that captures what Ohio Bike Week is about: good roads, good music, and a community that gives back. Dupree also performs live at the Downtown Block Party, which shuts down the Sandusky waterfront for concerts each evening.
The Lake Erie shoreline provides a different kind of riding backdrop, flat, open, with long straight roads giving way to lake views and Great Lakes island detours. It's a different landscape than the mountain rallies, and a welcome one.

Lone Star Rally | Galveston, Texas
November 5–8, 2026
Texas does everything big, and the Lone Star Rally delivers on that reputation. Galveston Island fills with an estimated 400,000 riders every November, making it the largest motorcycle event in Texas and one of the largest in the country. The Strand historic district, Seawall Boulevard, and Beach Central Park become the center of a rally that runs nonstop for four days.
The island setting with ferry crossings to Bolivar Peninsula and coastal riding routes in every direction gives the Lone Star Rally a geography unlike any other event on the calendar. It's also the last major rally of the year for most riders, which gives it a particular energy: people making the most of it before winter closes in.
A Harley-Davidson motorcycle is also given away here through the RollingUSA program. Riders who sign up for RollingUSA campaigns at their local Harley-Davidson dealership can be entered for the chance to stand on stage with nine other finalists, draw a key from a bucket, and if they're the one to unlock the forks they will win a brand-new Harley-Davidson.

The Love Ride | Glendale, California
Annually in November | Proceeds benefit Wounded Warrior Project and Adopt The Arts
Few events in motorcycle history carry the legacy of the Love Ride. Founded in 1984 by Oliver Shokouh of Harley-Davidson of Glendale, the Love Ride grew from a small charity carnival into what organizers call the world's most iconic one-day motorcycle charity event raising over $25 million for charitable causes over its history.
The ride departs from Harley-Davidson of Glendale and ends at Castaic Lake, north of Los Angeles along Interstate 5. Celebrity grand marshals, live music from major acts, and thousands of riders from across Southern California and beyond have made this event a landmark in the riding calendar. Past participants have included Jay Leno, Willie G. Davidson, Peter Fonda, Gene Simmons, ZZ Top, and the Foo Fighters. Current beneficiaries include the Wounded Warrior Project and Adopt The Arts.
This is charity riding at its finest a community showing what it can do when it comes together with a purpose.

Why These Rallies Matter
The question isn't really which rallies to attend. The question is how many you can get to and what you bring back from each one.
Every rally on this list offers something different: a landscape, a community, a history, a purpose. Sturgis gives you the Black Hills and the scale of something that can only happen in America. Daytona gives you the beach and 85 years of tradition. Branson gives you the Ozarks and a city that knows how to host. Bikes, Blues & BBQ gives you a rally that does genuine good in its community. Ohio Bike Week gives you the lake and a rock star on a charity ride. The Love Ride gives you a cause worth riding for.
The roads connect all of it. And the riders who show up year after year, rally after rally are the reason these events exist and keep growing.
Plan the year. Fill the calendar. There's always a reason to ride.
